Bepo Empowers Constituents With Economic Tools (Photos)

The 4th of October 2020 would be a day constituents of ward 5, Ifelodun and Atakumosa West Central would not readily forget because the local government parliamentarian representing the ward, Princess Jumoke Bepo brought the dividends of democracy to their doorstep.

Hon (Mrs) Adejumoke Bepo said the donations would go a long way in providing the needed relief to her people this period because of the economic impact of the Corona Virus pandemic.

Present at the program were Hon Solagbade Oladepo-Commisioner for Environment, Hon Olaboopo Olubukola – Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon Ajibola Famurewa, Oba Adekunle Bepo – Aleki of Ileki-Ijesa, Oba Omisade Agboluaje – the Loja of Ibodi, Hon BFK, Hon Biyi Adelowo, Hon Ajayi Samuel, Hon Korede Idowu – former commissioner for environment, Awolola Abiodun – 3 term State Honourable, Hon Fawande, Friends of Jumoke in Ijesa land, Formidable Ladies.

They facilitated with the parliamentarian and lauded her efforts in ensuring the dividends of democracy got to members of her constituency.

Some of the items that were shared were: Grinding machines, Generator, Clippers, Phones, Standing fans, Gas cylinder, Spraying machine, Palliative bags and Ankara materials.

The items were distributed amongst residents including the vulnerable, youths, widows and commercial drivers across Ijesa South federal Constituency.

While admonishing recipients to ensure judicious use of the materials, Bepo said she would continue to serve the people of the council areas through execution of people-oriented programmes that would have a direct bearing on their lives.

The beneficiaries of the relief materials expressed appreciation to the parliamentarian and called for the other representatives to follow in her footsteps.
