Fish roll is a snacks which is loved by kids and even adults. It is easier to make at the comfort of your home. This recipe is one of the best recipe for preparing your yummy fish roll.
2 cups of flour
1 tablespoon of grounded nutmeg
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2/3 Cup of sugar
1 large egg
4 tablespoons of margarine
Milk flavor (optional)
A pinch of salt
Groundnut oil for deep frying
1)Cut and wash your fish very well. Steam the fish and season it with seasonings like thyme, salt, pepper etc.
2)Fry the fish and set it aside. Mash it with your hands, depending on how you want it to be in your fish roll.
3)Sieve your Flour in a bowl. Add your baking powder, nutmeg and milk flavor to the flour.
4)Add your margarine, use your finger to incorporate the margarine into the flour until it becomes crumby.
5) Beat the egg and whisk it until it becomes fluffy. Then add it into the mixture.
6)Mix your sugar with little warm water and add it into the mixture.
7)Stretch the dough on a wooden board, cut out some and put fish in the middle of the one you’ve cut, roll it.
8)Continue until all the dough has finished.
9)Heat your oil.
10)Fry the roll in the hot oil until golden brown.
11)Enjoy your yummy fish roll
