Potato: Is know for its mild acidic nature which makes it a tremendous natural bleaching agent. It is skin-friendly and does not cause irritation like other strong bleaching agents.
Simply get a potato and peel it’s coat. Cut a slice and rub the slice of potato under your armpits.
You can as well grate or mash the potato and then apply the juice to the under your armpit, leave to dry for 15 to 20 minute,s and then rinse off with warm water.
Do any of these methods twice daily for quicker and better results.
Cucumber: Just as potatoes, cucumbers also have natural bleaching elements which helps lighten blackened skin. Repeat the same procedure as with the potatoes.
Rub under your armpits a thin cucumber slice or mash cucumber and apply the fluid under your armpits. Do this once or twice daily continually until you see your desired result.
Also you can extract cucumber juice and then mix it with a little turmeric powder and lemon juice. Apply this mixture under your armpits and leave for 30 minutes. Wash it off with water. Do this home treatment once daily or every other day for desirable results.
Lemon: Amazingly, lemon works excellently as a natural bleach and it also has powerful antibacterial and antiseptic nature. These make lemon one of the best choice to be used in the treatment of various skin-related problems naturally, these includes dark armpits. Note that lemon has the ability to dry out your skin, so make sure to apply a moisturizer immediately after using these home treatmentst.
In order to remove dead skin cells and lighten your armpits, rub a slice of lemon under your armpits and leave for 10 minutes. Wash off with water properly. Repeat these two to three times a week.
Also, you can mix some lemon juice with a little turmeric powder, honey or plain yogurt together and then apply the mixture under your armpits. Leave for about 10 minutes and then wash it off. Do these for about three or four times a week.
Baking Soda: Baking soda can be used to get rid of dark armpits. It also helps to remove dead skin cells, which is a major causes of dark armpits.
Make a thick paste of baking soda and water. Apply the paste to your armpits and use it to scrub your armpits. Now wash it off and with the aid of a towel, pat your armpits dry thoroughly. Repeat these three to four times a week for better results.
Orange Peel: Orange peels can also be used to lighten up the skin of the armpits, this is due to it’s s skin lightening properties.
Dry some orange peels under the sun for a few days until they are completely dry. Now grind the dried peels into powder. Afterwards, make a thick paste of two teaspoons of powdered orange peel and enough rose water and milk. Use the paste to scrub your armpits gently and then allow it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Do these two or three times a week for better results.
Coconut oil also helps to get rid of dark armpits. Coconut oil comprises of vitamin E and other essential elements that can help lighten the armpits. Amazingly, it also a good and effective natural deodorant.
Massage the armpits with coconut oil and then leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash these off with toilet soap and warm water. Do these two or three times daily until you get the results you desire.
Milk: Milk contains vitamins and fatty acids which helps reduce armpit darkening. It also soften the skin of the armpits and makes the skin tone lighter.
Make a paste of two tablespoons of full-fat milk, one to two tablespoons of flour and one teaspoon of plain yogurt. Apply these under your armpits and leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Do these two to three times a week on a religiously for best results.
Vinegar: Vinegar can also get rid of your dark armpits. This treatment will not only lighten the skin color, but will also eradicate germs and bacteria that feed on dead skin cell, therefore, causing the armpits to have bad odor.
Make a thick paste of vinegar and rice flour, go have a hot bathe and then apply the paste under your armpits. Leave these to dry for 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat two to three times a week for better results.
